Apple May Use Samsung AMOLED For iPad 3

Anonymously tipped off, a source told Asia News network that “Apple wants to tap into Samsung’s AMOLED technology for an upgraded version of the iPad 2.

The iPad 2 may have only come out not long ago however rumours are already starting to surface regarding the iPad 3, the latest of which hits at the next gen display. As Asia News Network reports, Apple is apparently eager to tap into the AMOLED display market for its products and is likely to kick start this with the iPad 3, considered as many as the iPad 3 that is likely to be launched toward the end of this year”. Now, we can buy the fact that the iPad 3 may have a Samsung AMOLED hitting up the display, however we highly doubt (nay refuse) to believe claims that the iPad 3 will surface this year.
